Alessandra (“Alex”) Ayala is a visual artist & filmmaker based in New York City. Alex has been a cinematographer in her senior thesis short film at the University of Florida and on the camera team for three short films in Narrative Collaborative Filmmaking. Apart from film, Alex has a passion for the music industry, particularly, in concert photography and music videos. She is always looking for opportunities to snap pics of local and large bands anywhere and everywhere.

When Alex isn’t filming or looking for her next creative project, you can find her thrifting, jamming out at a concert, finding new coffee shops, cuddling with her cats, and traveling to new cities.

She recently graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Digital Film & Television Production while completing a talent development internship at NBC in NYC & producing a narrative short film composed of fellow UF alumni.

Alex currently works part-time at Atlantic Records as a video content associate while she freelances & works as a managing editor for Off the Record Press.
